About Bayside OT
Bayside & Brisbane Occupational Therapy is a highly regarded practice that has been delivering quality services in the Redlands and Brisbane's Eastern suburbs for over 20 years. Our therapists are experienced, compassionate and committed to providing a prompt, high quality service. If you or a loved one are finding it difficult to manage around your home or to achieve all you want out of life due to illness or disability, we can help.
We are a mobile OT practice, providing services to adults in the Redlands, South eastern and inner North suburbs.

What we do
Equipment prescription
We provide assessment for a wide range of equipment, including seating, wheelchairs of all types, aids for safety and independence in the home and community. We provide assessment, trial and prescription of these products and appliances to help you manage more easily & safely. Having an experienced therapist consider all occupations to find the best solution for your lifestyle will significantly impact on how you function in your day-to-day life.
Home modifications
Our OT's have extensive experience assessing and prescribing minor and some major home modifications. We carefully assess the needs of each individual person and find creative solutions to overcoming barriers. We work alongside registered tradespeople to help make this process timely and stress free, & to ensure a high standard of work.
Assistance with
Daily Living
We work with clients with disabilities as a result of a permanent condition or following illness or injury. Our Occupational Therapists can work with you to help you set goals and work on increasing your capacity and skills in everyday activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
Palliative care
We provide responsive services to help people with terminal or palliative diagnoses & to ensure you remain comfortable and living at home during this very difficult time. Our caring staff will work closely with your medical team to ensure a seamless transition & work with you to manage issues before they arise and so that you & your family can focus on making the most of your time together. Everybody experiences the loss of someone close to them differently & we will work with you and your individual needs.
Incontinence advice
We are aware that bladder and bowel incontinence can impact your daily life. At Bayside & Brisbane OT our experienced Occupational Therapists will work with you to find solutions to address this issue and allow you to continue living the way you want to! Under some schemes we can prescribe incontinence products. We do not offer incontinence nursing assessments.
