About Bayside OT
We are a highly regarded mobile practice that has been delivering prompt, high quality services to our clients for the past 15 years. Our Occupational Therapists are experienced, compassionate and committed to provide exceptional care. If you or a loved one are finding it difficult to manage around your home or to achieve all you want out of life due to illness or disability, we can work with you to find individualised solutions.
We are a mobile Occupational Therapy practice, providing services to adults in the Redlands and South Eastern Brisbane areas.

What we do
Equipment prescription
We provide assessment for assistive technology equipment, including seating, wheelchairs and a wide range of aids for safety and independence in the home and community. Having an experienced therapist consider all occupations to find the best solution for your lifestyle will significantly impact on how you function in your day-to-day life.
Home modifications
We have extensive experience assessing and prescribing minor and some major home modifications. We carefully assess the needs of each individual person and find creative solutions to overcoming barriers. We work alongside registered tradespeople to help make this process timely and stress free, and to ensure a high standard of work.
Assistance with
Daily Living
Our Occupational Therapists can work with you to help you set goals and work on increasing your capacity and skills in everyday activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation. We can help build skills and help to learn ways to compensate for deficits caused by your disability or illness
Palliative care
Bayside OT provides high quality OT services for St Vincent’s private hospital with responsive services to help people with terminal or palliative diagnoses We provide equipment to help enable our clients to be cared for living at home during this very difficult time. We work closely with your medical team to ensure a seamless transition and work with you to manage issues before they arise and so that you and your family can focus on making the most of your time together. Everybody experiences the loss of someone close to them differently & we will work with you and your individual needs.
Incontinence advice
We are aware that bladder and bowel incontinence can impact your daily life. At Bayside & Brisbane OT our experienced Occupational Therapists will work with you to find solutions to address this issue and allow you to continue living the way you want to! Under some schemes we can prescribe incontinence products. We do not offer incontinence nursing assessments.
